In the Kitchen w/ Kelly: Figgin' Smooth

Do not dismiss this as a hippie shake.

When bananas start to go, I peel and seal them in a plastic bag, then pop them into the freezer, where they will one day find themselves cast in a shake or smoothie.

One of my all-time fixes is the Fig/Date Smoothie.

Figgin' Smooth

1 frozen banana
3 figs (use dates and adjust name to the Third Date)
1 cup soy milk

And...we're off to the blender until smooth.

Serves 1.
