Jigger What: The Vegan Manhattan

Vegan vermouth exists and this is a hard and delectable fact. Since most vermouth contains animal fining, we were determined to find one that was vegan (this isn't the easiest Google or Bing quest). But finally, our sleuthing could not be denied and we settled upon Vya after checking it out on Barnivore.

Then Eric had his first vegan Manhattan.

 Vegan Manhattan:

2 oz Sazerac Rye
1 oz Vya vermouth
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 Luxardo cherry

Stir and strain into a cocktail glass with a Luxardo maraschino cherry placed at the bottom.

 And now you can have your old-school cocktailing ways with that modern vegan sexiness twist.
