Smashing Maple Pumpkin Butter.

I thought Better Butter was charming before. It just got even better.

Maple Pumpkin Peanut Butter? Smashing.  Their new fall flavor made me want to pull up the Smashing Pumpkins channel on Pandora. I bought a teeny jar of pumpkin butter from Highland Orchards because I imagined the two would make a friendly sandwich.

But the Maple Pumpkin Butter is pumpkin-filled enough that it doesn't need any more help in the squash department. Peanutty smooth, extremely creamy, and thick enough to make a superb spread - try it as frosting on cupcakes or pumpkin bread. Smash it in between your coconut milk & flaxseed french toast. Pile it on double decker sandwiches with the crusts snipped off.
