The Clif-wich.

This is sort of a why-not recipe.

I think it would be the perfect dense and portable meal for hiking trips or long flights.

Who needs bread when you've got oat bars? Simply flatten two Clif Bars until they resemble bread slices. Spread one bar with fruit, nut butter, or anything you fancy, and top with second Clif Bar. Cut diagonally, and you have two sandwiches or one really big power sandwich.

I like to use two different flavors that work well together - White Chocolate Macadamia Nut and Spiced Pumpkin Pie or Chocolate Chip and Banana Nut Bread.

You could also cut into smaller pieces and serve as a healthy snack for a group. Or spread vegan frosting or chocolate ganache in between to make mini desserts.
