Can you guess what's lurking in this bowl of shimmering oats?
It's an Oatmeal Cookie from Sweet Freedom Bakery, leftover from our V Day pick-up. I have a way of turning my oatmeal into dessert...I like my dessert in the morning and my savory at night.
I folded in some goldenberries and PB & Company White Chocolate Wonderful Peanut Butter, Almond Milk, Flaxmeal, and Cinnamon...
Remember my Post-Thanksgiving Vegan Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal ?
Or my Rawtella-Covered Banana Oats?
My Dessert Oatmeal Bowls are extremely filling and very high in fiber, protein, calcium, and iron. All things that this vegan needs.

i like your dessert for breakfast style..
you get pretty creative for oatmeal! i end up adding the same mix-ins usually..but a cookie sounds great! :)
Thanks...I never eat the same thing for breakfast two days in a row and therefore I never get bored. ;)
The nice thing about oatmeal is that you can have it so many ways.
Hi Kelly
Love your blog!! Am reupdating my blog list & definitely going to link to yours! Love your oatmeal dessert. We love a savory oatmeal in the mornings...Would love to meetup next time you are in NYC! Cool, thanks! Just added you to my links page.
Cookies and pie in oatmeal? Totally my kind of breakfast. I still need to get up to Philly to try sweet freedom!
I will have to bring you some next time I come. The cookies and donuts freeze well, too.
