It's a good day at Living on the Vedge when the people from Philly Homegrown send over a box of locally sourced food products, delivered by courier. I was assured that each product was vegan, but I did not know what to expect.
So I'm challenging myself to put together a meal, and perhaps a dessert with those fine looking flours. To be honest, I've never been excited about pasta & red sauce, or Italian cuisine, unless it's extremely special, so I can guarantee that this will not be a traditional pasta dish. It would be way too simple (albeit delicious) if I were to mix together some pasta, sauce, mushrooms, and make a loaf of crusty bread. That's perfectly okay if that's what you want.
But I'm thinking a little, oh, fine, outside of the box.
What would you make?
