Our first wedding gift arrived, a gleaming Breville juicer that has replaced my now-and-then Naked Juice grab. We like to eat our produce, but chugging down a glass of various fruits and veggies that were lounging around hoping to make their way into a recipe ensures that no child be left behind. Seeing how excited Mr. Vedge gets when we decide on our next concoction is nice, too - especially when there are beets involved.
I've been trying to eat more kale, but because of the texture, I always prefer it in liquid form. This recipe addresses both of us, so it's right on that we received such a badass machine. The thank you note may be covered in beet stains.
Yours,
Team Juice
